Sara Pankenier Weld

During a research leave in 2025, Sara was a Visiting Fellow of Clare Hall at the University of Cambridge in England. In 2025 she was elected a Life Member of Clare Hall at the University of Cambridge.

For 2025-2027,  Sara is an Arnhold Faculty Fellow at the University of California, Santa Barbara.

For 2024-2025, Sara was a Public Voices Fellow of The OpEd Project and the University of California, Santa Barbara.

For 2023-2024 Sara received a University of California Humanities Research Institute (UCHRI) Engaging Humanities grant in support of the Revisiting Island of the Blue Dolphins public humanities initiative.

In summer 2019, Sara was a Stipendiat at the International Youth Library in Munich, Germany.

During her 2018-2019 research leave, Sara was a Guest Researcher in comparative literature at the Department of Culture and Aesthetics at Stockholm University in Stockholm, Sweden.
